The Christmas Beach Clean was a happy event. We had thirty-three people removing six full bags of litter and a large area of the beach was covered. It was good to see how much less the litter is now than it was a few years ago.

Some went to have coffee at the Beach Café and were warmly welcomed. The owners do not mind if the weather causes a cancellation, so mulled wine and mine pies should be on the menu after next year’s Christmas beach clean. Mulled wine and mince pies were promised.
