The Friends of Shoreham Beach are hosting Gullfest, our bird walk, with the World of Widewater on Saturday 7^th Sept, 12-2pm, meeting at Coronation Green. Open to the public.

Come on down to Coronation Green, adjacent to the pedestrian Ferry Bridge to learn more about the gulls using the river. Different species of gulls will be pointed out, as well as anything else from the bird world using the river at this time of year.

Tony Benton, from our committee, will be on hand to tell you about all things gull! Tony is an experienced birder and travels widely in search of birds. Birding is his passion and he will share his insights in an informal and engaging style. If you have binoculars, please bring them.
