Thank you to the 30 plus volunteers (including children) who braved the wind and came litter picking with us on our Christmas Beach Clean. Gary Baines welcomed us at the Shoreham Fort . He had brought mince pies so every volunteer could have one. Fort volunteers opened Food for Fort and provided welcome hot drinks. Others found nourishment at the Pollinator café. The sun shone so it proved a happy social occasion. We were amazed at the amount of litter collected and grateful to know so much was removed away from where it could damage and kill marine life.
