The sun shone for our Seashore Discovery Day!
What an amazing morning we all had at our Seashore Discovery Day on Wednesday 9 August.
The sun came out and about 80 people turned up. Steve Savage our marine zoologist and marine educator had tanks of seawater with lots of fascinating creatures, including beadlet anemones, shrimps, prawns, shore crabs, gobies and molluscs, and Chris had a great selection of strandline finds including Ray egg cases, sponges, and all sorts of shells from iving creatures that can be found along our coast.
And a big thank you to the Fort for opening – a combined day of local natural history and History!
