The annual post Christmas Beach Clean scheduled for the 27th December had to be postponed when high winds, heavy rain and rough seas made the beach a dangerous place to be. Although despite the conditions 11 hardy souls did arrive ready to do battle with the elements but Jacky Woolcock, Chair of FoSB, called a postponement and all retired to the Beach Cafe for a warming drink and a chat. Big thanks to those who did attend and the new date for this beach clean is now in the middle of half term, February 14th, meeting at 1100-1300 at the Ferry Road Beach entrance. As always, children are welcome and all equipment is supplied, just bring appropriate clothing and gloves and hopefully we’ll see you all there. Heres a photo of the hardy few……
